Doral, FL – On Wednesday, October 25th, Mayor Christi Fraga delivered the 2023 State of the City Address, highlighting the City’s achievements of the past year and spoke on what is ahead in 2024.

This is Mayor Fraga’s first State of the City Address since she was elected as Doral’s first female Mayor in December 2022.

The event scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. It began an hour later, although this wait did not dampen the enthusiasm of the participants, officials, elected officials and guests who applauded each achievement expressed by Mayor Christi Fraga in her Statement, who thanked their team work and Presented Sponsor Terra Group for their support of this momentous occasion.

During the past year, the City has united to accomplish noteworthy milestones that included the expansion of parks and recreation events/programming, improvements to public safety, prioritization of infrastructure projects, as well as the adoption of the lowest millage rate in all Miami-Dade County.

“With a steadfast commitment to improving the quality of life for our residents, the City of Doral is working diligently to provide the community with the exceptional services, transparency and open government they deserve”, emphasized Mayor Christi Fraga.

Congratulations to the Mayor of Doral and her entire work team, vice-mayor, commissioners, workers, police and fire department, and the community of residents of that beautiful city that is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in style.

Note: We thank Maggy Santos, communications director of the Doral Mayor’s Office for allowing us to join on this special night to celebrate their community.
