“Last year, we embarked on a remarkable journey with Farmers Month, and its success was a testament to the strength and dedication of our farmers and agricultural community,” stated Commissioner Cohen Higgins who sponsored legislation making November Farmers Month in Miami-Dade County. “We saw Miami’s countryside shine, and the invaluable contributions of our farmers were on full display. I’m thrilled to announce the return of Farmers Month this November, celebrating not just the beauty of our rural landscape but the vibrant heart of our economy. Our agricultural community stands as a pillar, sustaining jobs and contributing immensely to our local economy. This year, we invite everyone to, once again, immerse themselves in the wonders of our farming community.”
